Refined Salt (Regular Table Salt) The most common salt is regular table salt. This salt is usually highly refined — meaning that it's heavily ground, with most of its impurities and trace minerals removed. The problem with heavily ground salt is that it can clump together.Refined table salt is mostly composed of sodium chloride, with anti-caking agents added to prevent clumping. Iodine is often added to table salt as well.

Types of Salt

  • Fine Salt:
    Fine Salt is used in Washing Powder, Low quality dyes and Intermidiate, Filler in different chemicals.
  • Medium Salt:
    Medium salt is used in textiles, pharmacuticals, food products, and in high quality dyes and Intermidiate.
  • Pure Salt:
    Pure salt is used high in textiles, dyes, and Intermidiate. It's super-speciality is in chemicals and medicines. It is also used to soften the water and on food products.
